We don't want your data. We don't want your attention. We're not going to sell what you share. We know that sounds strange in 2026, so here is our vision for XowApp.
What you share is yours. Period.
Your photos and videos are encrypted directly on your device before they ever leave it. They travel inside a mathematically sealed envelope that can only be opened on the recipient's device. We are the postal worker: we move the envelope, but by cryptographic design, we couldn't open it even if we wanted to.
Zero-Knowledge, in plain English.
It means that even if we wanted to snoop, we couldn't. We don't have the key. No one at XowApp can see your memories. Not an employee, not an advertiser, not an algorithm.
We don't care who you are.
We don't ask for your email. We don't ask for your phone number. We don't ask for your ID. You'll pick a made-up name, and that's all we need.
Full control: delete means delete.
If you delete something that's yours, it disappears from the recipient's device too. No ghost backups.
So how do we make a living?
Right now, through voluntary donations: if you want to chip in, great; if not, you can still use XowApp just fine. Nobody is ever required to pay for anything. Whatever our model looks like tomorrow, one thing will never change: you are not, and will never be, the product.
